George Polatidis

Born in Australia, I started my journey in the hospitality industry at the young age of sixteen. My first job was working in the family restaurant, until I eventually started down my own path.

Moving on from a successful business, I travelled many parts of the world for a few years, eventually moving back to Greece, the birthplace of my parents.

After twenty years in the Athens culinary scene, having worked in all types of restaurants and cuisines, I now feel it’s time to share what I have learnt over the years working as a chef. With this newsletter, I hope to do just that. Here, I share in depth, my knowledge, my recipes, and my thoughts on Greek cuisine and culture.
